divernote
A notes app, coding agent and assistant in one, running on your own computers. It opens in your terminal, on iOS, and in the browser. It is in beta. Leave your email below to get early access.
Writing
Type and press Return to save. Start with + for a task, or # for a project. Write a date like “tomorrow” and it goes under that day.
Gestures on your phone
Swipe right for the Assistant, and again for Status; swipe left to come back to Notes. Swipe left to go in and right to go back. To tap a row to select and open it, turn on Tap rows in /settings. Press and hold an issue for its actions. Tap with two fingers to change an agent's effort.
Every device, one vault
Your notes live in one encrypted vault on a computer you own, or a VPS. Connect as many devices as you like: other computers, phones, browsers. We never store your notes or your keys.
Issues
An issue is a task you hand to a coding agent, such as Claude Code, Pi or Codex, running in its own copy of your repository. Start the message with the device, agent, model and effort you want, as in “coding claude opus high fix the footer”. Switch any of them mid-issue the same way, or just the effort with “low try again”. From any device you can read the log, reply to steer it, and merge its pull request.
Offline
Every device keeps its own copy and works without a connection, then syncs when it can reach the vault. If two edits clash, you get both copies; nothing is dropped.
Extensions
Add commands, issue types and agent behaviour with extensions. Install one from a Git repository with divernote install, and turn any of them on or off in /settings.
